Recipe for macadamia crusted chickenOkay… so if you haven’t seen it yet, this is one of the recipes in my 3 Day Sugar Detox.  It’s quick and painless to make, and oh so yummy.  Packed with protein and incredible flavor!  If you don’t love macadamia nuts, switch them out for a nut you like.  The video is available on YouTube if you want to see me in action, whipping up this delicious dish:)

Recipe for Macadamia Crusted Chicken

1 ½ cups raw macadamia nuts

½ cup fresh basil

2 teaspoons minced garlic

¼ teaspoon salt

Sprinkle ground black pepper

4 boneless organic chicken breasts

¼ cup organic pure honey

 Directions

Preheat oven to 375°

Place macadamia nuts, basil, garlic, and salt in food processor.  Pulse until a coarse crumb like texture is formed.  

Glaze chicken with honey. 

Spread crust mixture over entire chicken breast. 

Bake chicken until it is cooked through and crust is browned.   30-35 minutes.
